Equipment

The video setup of the meadow house comprises the following:

  • 27" Phillips Television
  • Dish 300 Satellite Receiver
  • Sanyo DVD player
  • Phillips Automatic video switchbox

Automatic Video Selector

The meadow house uses a automatic video selection device to display video on the TV.  It chooses the most appropriate video source to display with the following priority:

  1. DVD player
  2. Guest's Camera or Game-system (front input #4)
  3. Satellite receiver

So, normally, if the DVD player is powered on, it will be displayed.  Otherwise the satellite signal will be shown.  If the guest has plugged in a camera or a game system, it will be shown only if the DVD player is off.  In all cases, to see the satellite system, all other inputs must be turned off.
